Experienced New York Microwave Design Engineer Ryan Letcher

Based in Endicott, New York, Ryan Letcher has served in numerous leadership roles at RCL Microwave, Inc., since joining the company in 2016, including president, chief executive officer, chief technology officer, and chief financial officer. His responsibilities range from developing marketing and sales strategies to managing all operations of the microwave design engineering lab. Ryan Letcher also represents RCL Microwave at various trade shows.

Ryan Letcher previously gained experience as a radio frequency (RF) engineer with the United States Navy, during which time he worked as a radar and electronic warfare technician and as a member of the Department of Navy’s Engineer and Scientist Development Program. During his career as an engineer he has been a member of professional organizations such as the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He has also secured multiple patents through the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

During his time as a student at Pennsylvania State University, Ryan Letcher worked as a teaching assistant and lab assistant for Dr. Lynn Carpenter in classes such as Senior Design in Electromagnetics, Microwave Receiver Design, and other microwave engineering courses. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering.
